Parent tank setup

Question: If I place (clownfish) parent tanks next to one another, or if I baffle larger tanks to seperate the pairs, should the sides or baffles of the tank be shielded so that the pairs cannot see each other?

I don't know if it matters but use black acrylic as dividers in my tanks to give them some privacy.

If it's seperate tanks, I wouldn't worry about. Dividers in a large tank, I'd go for something opaque.

For some fish it is good. Some, not so much.Fighting thru glass creates a completive environment causing fish to eat more, resulting in a better egg production. Some fish can not handle it.....the female fish will be intimidated and become a sub{not laying]this is not common yet it does happen. The sub female also will look blind not responding to much of anything including food and a ready male.
