Ouch! Sorry! What kind of fish was that? I've had freshwater fish get chewed up by a Koralia and survive and recover from huge gashes in their sides. I never saw it happen, so I don't know if they went through the fan or simply for sucked to the side.

Ouch indeed. The slot are pretty thin, does it still fit through? Or did it go in the output side when pump is pulsing?

Edit: rewatched, seems like pump was off and then turned on. I'll remember to always keep mine on heh.

Yeap, water change. I had to walk away to the computer to turn the pump on.

Jesus, that was violent. I had that happen to something in my tank. Came home and I had a half eaten fish inside the gaurd of an mp40. Got killed and half eaten.

I have a few fish that do that every time I turn off my vortechs. I got tired of shoeing them out before restarting. Now I just have them programmed to the lowest flow possible during feedings.
