Paring up a Black Percula Clown

I have a black percula clown, shadow in my 12 gallon aquapod. I want to get him a friend. Shadow is still small. He is tank bred and is a missbarred. I think i want to get another missbar to pair with him. I do not know whether my clown is a he or she so I will just call it a he. He is small so what size of clown do I need to get for him to pair with? Can they change genders? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Ok I have done alot of reasearch on this. I found that a clown kept by itself is a female, so mine is a female. She is still small so mabey she hasn't matured yet? Do I get a smaller clown? Also do I need to get an anenome because I really don't want to take the risk of it moving around my tank.
