Parrotfish

In Memoriam
:bounce2:Are parrotfish safe with corals? I know they use their beaks to crush corals to get algae, but if i provide ample food supplies of algae or even a dead coral skeleton covered in marine algae would it be ok?

I wouldnt want to try it at all... in nature they are major coral crunchers. They graze nonstop, so even if you fed a lot I'm pretty sure they would still grind down your corals between feeding.

Scarus quoyi is known as the only "reef safe" parrot fish. All parrot fish require large tanks.
