Part 1 Whatizzit

We just got part one of a shipment and we are having fun finding all the new things running around. There are however a couple of things I can't figure out. First is what looks like some kind of soft coral a little bigger than a golf ball. if has about 25 white heads all in kindof a horseshoe shape.

And second, one large rock has a lot of small yellow dots on it. Some are fully open but then don't move. Is that some kind of tube coral?

Thanks for the help!

David

Conch eggs? ... is this an april fools joke?

Seriously, is there any chance of them surviving the cycle? I have been having amonia spikes through the roof, could they be dying off?

change that water...

how many gallons is the tank? how many in a water change?
how often are you changing?

It's small, a 24 gallon aquapod. And I have been doing a 3 or 4 gallon water change twice a day. I also just just took all the rocks out and scrubbed off all the sour smelling sponges and did about a 6 gallon water change. So hopefully that will get it under control. :D
