OMG I don't even know what to do with half these things!!!
UNREAL!!!
Clams, urchins, sponges, 4 anemomes, gorgonians, corals, a rock filled with zoas.
Do the gorgonians get planted in the sand or rubberbanded to a rock?
Pics coming up!!!!
I would not 'plant' gorgonians or tree sponges in the substrate as the bases may end up dying and rotting, I would attach them to a hard surface or wedge them into the rockwork somewhere keeping in mind they both like good flow and most of the gorgonians also require good light. Many sponges however especially the deeper water ones should be in a shadier part of the tank with good flow.
Originally posted by Simon68 Thanks, so would rubberbanding them to a rock work? Will they plant on that rock eventually so I can take off the rubberband?
While I am at it, what's the best thing to feed the anemomes?
THANKS!!!
Yes. I use 1/3 to 1/2 of a silverside (depending on the size of the fish). I give about a 1/4" chunk to my serpent star at the same time. Some people advocate soaking whatever you feed in some Selcon first (though I never have).
I just got my quote for the 24" cube with a few extras :eyeroll: and OMG I'm going to be getting my rocks after the new year (or sooner if things work out)!!!!
