Passer Angel Sexing

Ambition

I am becoming an angel addict, along with wrasses and butterflies. As a part of my addiction I am looking at all angels, even the ones I can't get right now with this tank. Anyways, I see various sources saying the central fins will tell the sex: male yellow; female white. Has this actually been confirmed? Just a curiosity I have. TIA!

What do you mean by "central" fin? I've never heard of any differences... that'd be neat!! But oooh a big tank would be needed for two bruisers like that!

My phone doesn't like the term "ventral" I guess. Should be ventral fins, not central fins. Thanks for pointing that out, Peter!

I had one that grew from 2" to 5" in less than a yr. As it got bigger, it got more aggressive. I gave it away to lessen the bioload in my tank.

FWIK, I dont think theres a way to visually sex passer angels.

The king ventral fin white is male & yellow is female. My friend hv paired King exactly like i mention. Even lay egg once a while.. nothing surprise many case like this already. I believe on what i saw. Infact if u place 5 yellow on sometime sure 1 of it will change sex to male(white).
