First, I just wanted to say Aqua Cave has excellent customer service. They always leave me a voice message regarding status of the order. I call them and always get a live person to talk to, Enrico or Michael. I love the response time to inquiries.
However, I have yet to complete an order from them. I am hoping this time it will work. This is my second time attempting to buy from Aqua Cave. The first time I ordered a SRO skimmer, but was later informed they did not have it in stock and it will be back ordered. Being the newbie reefer I am, I got impatient and cancelled the order and bought elsewhere for more, just to have it now. Keep telling myself patience is key, but can resist impulse to buy.
Now, last week I called in about AI Sol Blues, and they said that they would be getting a new shipment last friday. So, I went ahead a placed the order. I got a call back yesterday and was informed it was backordered as the shipment did not come in. They anticipate 2-3 more weeks.
A little disappointed because it happened twice, but this time I am going to stick with Aqua Cave and not go to by LFS who does have them in stock for a marginally higher price. I think your website should say out of stock so that we can't order if you don't have it. Anways, I hope Aqua Cave can deliver this time. I keep hearing good things about them, so won't give up on Aqua Cave.
