I've got a bunch of these in my tank but they're never in a convenient spot. This little guy planted himself right smack in the middle of the front wall of my tank over the weekend.

Cheers

WOW, either you have a different strain of asterina or they just look way cooler when done macro like that!

So your tank's empty, or you put some sort of backdrop behind him? Maybe the asterina was near the very top of the glass and the black is the back glass?

It was up high enough that you it was over the rock work. You're basically seeing the back wall of the tank.

Also, the exposure and DOF helped obscure the coraline on background.

He's cool. What lens was used? And also, got any other pictures of your tank? You can take really nice photos but I don't think I've seen any of you tank. I'm curious as to see what your tank looks like.

It says "no video" and it's upside down.

the low band works but the lights are out right ow

Spoke too soon.

It's back online but you'll have to wait until the lights come on tomorrow to see anything.

So what's your lighting schedule... or is this just a moon light tank? I checked it this morning, but that was before 6am. Now it's 9pm, and it looks the same. :)

I know my shot is no wheres as good as beerguys (damned 100 macro) but i finally got around to taking a picture of one of these guys and they do look the same!
