I think paypal is safe enough for me if I was trying to sell something to someone I didn't know

If your using Paypal.... I think your money is safe? Especially if he is sending You money.
Also, with his Paypal user name you can see if he is a verified Paypal user which is always good....
You can get some feedback about him on other forums or Ebay or you could get his home number and call it to verify its real.... Phone number doesn't do much except let you know that when you have to go get your money "Manually", the shipping address is probably where he'll be!!:lol:

due keep in mind paypal will charge you a fee to receive money.
Yeah, they will let you know when money comes in. Log into your account, check your balance.. then send it.

Do you have a Paypal account?
Is it set up with your bank account info where you can just transfer the money to your account once you recieve it?
When someone sends me money I just transfer it to my bank account for free....Also, if I over spend out of my Paypal, Paypal will draw money from my account.
Paypal takes 3% of what someone sends you so you either eat the 3% or you charge accordingly.
Yes, once you get the money it is 99% safe to ship..(100% really)
But once, I had a little problem with Paypal verifying payment AFTER I recieve the money in my account AND AFTER I shipped the $700 LCD TV!!!! Of course it all worked out fine...

If you use USPS (the mail) Make sure you get delivery confirmation AT least, that way you can track it.... I sent a $400 camera lens out without any insurance or anything(My fault)and it "never" got to the guy that bought it so Paypal refunded his money because he started a Dispute action.
If its worth something I always insure it because the delivery guys really don't care about your package!! (sorry delivery guys...
