what's the difference between 420nm and 460nm when dealing with actinic power compact bulbs.

If I remember right one is more blue and the other is more purple, with the blue being the 420nm and the purple being the 460nm.

I believe thats right maybe some one else can confirm. As for results other than the color, you got me

one is VHO blue and the other is like T5 blue-purplish I'll send you a pic

Thanks for the knowledge guys. Changing out bulbs just wanted to know the difference.
