Peacock living with a maroon clown?

Do you think it could be possible to get a small peacock mantis with my medium sized maroon (2.5") to live together?

Maybe if they grow up together they wont try to eat each other, but i imagine if the mantis gets a little appetite at night he could easily sneak up on the sleeping fish and pop him.

I was just wondering i thought it would be pretty neat for them to live together..

If you get a really small mantis its possible. It is definatly a risk in any tank, especially a 20g.

Dont think you have to worrie about the clown eating the mantis

my maroon ate my crab...so maybe if you starve it and its wayyy bigger then the mantis

I kept a percula ocellaris clown with a G. ternatensis for a about a year and a half (mantis died, probably old age as it was HUGE). I think compatability has to do with tank size, feeding, and general personality of the mantis.

I would worry about the size the Maroon will get....I have a pair and my female is almost 6". A 30 gallon could get kinda small for it.
