I have a full-grown peacock Manis that's awesome and beautiful and very social needs a new home"¦ Also some LPS to go with it a hammerhead and some blast Imosa at the end of the day I need to unplug the pump but I still have livestock in it so somebody help me out

Whats the deal with the peacock? Ive got a 92 corner tank empty and cycled waiting for something awesome as such

that's like the blueline trigger corner reef wanted 89 for that someone else got :fun2:

Stop bring that up. I told you to come get that fish that day. You sat at home and played xbox with the kid. $75 is a darn good price for an adult peacock.

Sounds like you shouldn't lose that gun and keep whoever close to you that's giving you the satisfaction you desire

75 is retailer price. Your not retailer and if you try trading it in your going to get maybe half of retail on store credit. Most of us understand this and then some don't

Like i said I'll pass thanks

Fair enough. I'm not being difficult just pointing out that "used to" and today are very different. I'm not trading it in because frankly it's worth more than 37.50 and the availability is limited. Supply and demand you know.... Point is all serious offers will be considered

Mr D... Curious what you mean by "includes feeding" you referenced that twice and I'm afraid that I don't follow you on that. Also you said 75 is retail and you won't pay retail price for it, because I'm not a retailer, ok you don't like to pay retail prices. That's fair, but then you mentioned that trade in I would only get half retail price and that some folks understand that and some don't. You know me and you are obviously know I understand how that works but I guess I don't understand the meaning behind it. In other words what in your opinion is a fair price? Which is probably the way I should have phrased my response from the start as I got my hand slapped for "inappropriate language" but that's a different conversation.

The market determines the price...
If you asked $1k for the Peacock and someone bought it for that, it would be worth $1k.
If you list it for $75 and no one buys it, then it's not worth $75.

You've had it listed for 3 days at $75 (Which I feel is a good price personally....I'm just not into stomatopods although I can appreciate them).

Give it time and you'll find the right buyer.

If you dont have time, then you'll probably need to lower the price in order to get rid of it quickly.

I dont have a problem buying livestock from an individual at retail prices, (or higher depending) if they can be:

difficult/finicky to get acclimatized
eating in captivity
or ship poorly

but are in great health in the individual's care.

For example...I've had several H.magnifica anemones for several years.
Recently, one of them split in captivity. I sold the clone at retail price of $100.
I knew that it was healthy (Had since March of 06 and it had split a year before I sold it, so it was fully healed up and it was approx 8 inches in diameter), and I knew that it was worth what I was selling it for.

Had some people try to lowball me, and I dont blame them for trying. Worst I'm going to say to an offer is no...doesnt cost them anything for trying or me for denying. Best case scenario is that I accept their offer and they get it for a better price.

But I held firm and sold it for what I was asking.

Just my unasked opinion on this matter.

Pictures would help you sell it though.

Good luck.
