Pearlberry care and tips - only pale coral I have...

I have somewhat a strange issue....have a pearlberry for a few months now, but it is very pale with little poly extension, however, rest of my sps corals show decent color, definitely not pale. The pearlberry continues to encrust, but I am worried about it. I thought people blast these things with light? Mine is halfway down under mh/t5, so it doesn't seem like too much light....any tips on caring for this coral? Thx!
