Peeling Squamosa?

I have a beautiful Squamy that seems very healthy except that it seems to be "peeling" on its mantle. Just looks like dead skin peeling off. I see some substantion new growth on the shell and was wondering if this is peeling is normal. Thanks for your help. Marcye
