Eductors work well, but I found out the hard way that they require a high pressure pump (like a sequence dart or barracuda) to have them work efficiently.

I got a couple back.. oh I dunno when they had a group buy on them, they work fine. Still have one I haven't hooked up yet too, of course that's because I need to drill holes in my tank and as a result I want the placement to be ideal.
I have a 6 foot tank (220 G Tank). Originally I came in through the top of the tank with 3/4 Lockline and three penductors off each line. I was not happy with the performance. When I reduced to two off of each line I saw a considerable increase. I have a dart and if I had it to do over I would have without question go much larger.
I don't believe I have these set up for maximum efficiency. I should have run 1 1/2 pvc all the way up to the top of the tank and then dropped down to 3/4 lockline. I'm a typical male, don't ask for directions when traveling or read directions when I'm building things.
