pepermint hogfish an melanarus wrasse

I put these guys into display tank yesterday. I have not seen them since. The tank is fully covered . How long before they come out of hiding any ideas? I know they burry themselves in sand but I would like to know how they are doing . Should I go digging or let them come out on their own?

Let them be. Digging around will just stress them out. I'm not familiar with the peppermint hogfish, but I have a melanarus which hid for a little over a day each time he's been moved.

Just give it some time. Some can hide for days.

The peppermint hogfish came out an ate Mysis today an went back in hiding. The melanarus came out after being disturbed by large snail an buried himself in the sand right away. I guess I have to be patient.
