Hey guys...just checking in with you.

New tank is up and running and is beautiful. I have a minor bacterial bloom now and I'm changing tons of water to alleviate this. But my main problem is, I have put in 3-4 shrimp over the last couple weeks and they keep dying.

They acclimate fine, as soon as introduced into the tank they die. I'm at my wit's end and I'm going to stop buying shrimp until I can figure out this problem!

We need more information to begin helping you. You havent really given anything.

What are you entire parameters (numbers only. None of that"good", "fine", or "perfect" nonsense)?
What was your acclimation procedure in detail?
Exactly how old is the tank and are you sure its cycled?
Is there anything that IS living in your tank?

Parameters:
Temp: 82
Ammonia/Trite: 0
Nitrate: 10-15
ph: Don't recall but it's fine
Salinity: 1.024

Acclimation: drip acclimated for 1 hour at about 4-5 drops per seconds

Age: Tank itself is about 3 months old with rock/sand transferred from old tank.

Things living in the tank: 2 clownfish, watchman goby, yellow tang, duncan coral, hammer coral, various snails.

Sorry i forget it's been awhile since i posted so no one knows my specs anymore :P So yes, I know it is cycled.

What kind of water are you using for water changes? Tap water could have high levels of metals in your water, (copper )
