Peppermint Angels

everyone wants one, but in the end, i bet there will be a lot of tire kickers...

I'm sure people think that peppermint angels are beautiful and would love to have them but I'm sure cost is a factor. And in the end, a lot of individuals may be reluctant to plop down several thousand dollars on a fish. Can you blame them?

You have to keep in mind that according to the info we have it is not a hardy Angel.
So I think whoever buys one should get it in its own tank with a few very peaceful tank mates.

I think proper colecting method is the way to get a healthy one

None of the peppermints collected to date have been kept in a cold water system prior to transport. I think this was a huge factor in their high mortality rate. The cost of properly mounting a collecting trip to Tahiti is substantial. Of course, the price of the fish collected must cover this cost in addition to the great risk incurred by the divers to collect these fish.
