Peppermint Hogfish with Fairy wrasses?

I have an opportunity to get one about 3.5" at a decent price. It would be last fish in a mixed reef tank with fairy wrasses. All other wrasses are about the same size.

Anyone have any experience with hogfish and fairy wrasses? Don't want the hog to kill my wrasses.

Hogs can get pretty aggressive as they get older and bigger

If added the peppermint last it will be fine . My friend have a pair with a lot of small wrasse no issues even adding new fairy wrasse then again he have 80 something fish.

Mine are still an a hole won't let me add any wrasse similar size fairy wrasse.

Yep. got rid of mines. He was fine when he was small, but as he grew he became more and more aggressive.

I've had my peppermint hog for about 18 months. He has not bothered any new editions, except one. I tried adding a fourline wrasse, and he went crazy. Would not leave it along, constantly biting it. I had to return the wrasse to the store.

But I've added other fish (yellow wrasse, purple firefish, clownfish, damsel) without issue. Really cool fish. Get it.
