Peppermint Shrimp attacking......

Is it possible our peppermint shrimp is taking "nabs" at our Blonde Naso tang? There is a spot that has appeared on the tang and I took pictures to the fish store I buy everything, including the tang. He said most likely the tang hit himself on something or something was "nabbing" at him....
Are the peppermint shrimp known to be like that? Nabbing at other animals in the tank?

Sounds like it is acting like cleaner shrimp do. In which case it should be benificial to the fish.

I have seen peppermints attack weak fish when hungry. Once they have opened a sore, it's easy pickin'. The other fish seemed to allow it - as if it was a cleaner shrimp. But I've only seen it on smaller species - never something like a naso. If it's the shrimp, it must be getting the tang at night.
