Peppermint shrimp in refugium?

I have a small Aiptasia population in my main tank and my fuge. I am going to try peppermint shrimp to get rid of them (will be sure to get the real thing, L. wurdemanii). If I put a pair in my fuge, what else will they eat besides Aiptasia? Do they prey on other arthropods? I'd hate to have them do in all the nice copepods and amphipods I have going in there now. Do they eat algae at all? General detritus?

Thanks for any info/experience you have to share.

id think that they would eat detritus and leftovers as well
