i moved my hob cpr fuge to my sump last week and noticed the aiptasia anemones from the fuge were starting to infest the sump where it is much more difficult for me to spot/reach. so i was thinking of throwing a couple peppermint shrimp in the sump to take care of the problem. would this be a good idea? would i still need to feed them once the aiptasia run out or will the steady flow of ditritus satisfy them?
also... i noticed that whenever i add macroalgae to my tank(caulerpa), they start to fade in color and eventually die off. could this be due to my algae turf scrubber? is it working too good? my nitrates and phosphates have been near zero since i put in the algae turf scrubber and since then i cant seem to successfully keep macroalgae.
