My peppermint shrimp had 1,000's of baby
My maroon clowns had a night time snack!

I get baby's and something eats them! Just my luck!

dang that sucks but is good at the same time...dont want 1000's of shrimps in your tank....some of my ceriths snails have laid eggs and i have a few 100 baby snails in the corner of my tank in a huge PILE then they all scatter at nite feeding on the glass

According to this article, you can raise the peppermint shrimp zoea with bbs from the day one. The length of their pelagic state is evidently much longer than that of sexy shrimp, which makes it a little hard to raise than the sexy shrimp, but it's obviously doable.

That's wonderful, monica. I hope you can grow them out.

I bought 5 peppermint shrimp a couple of weeks ago from CRA and four of them had eggs on their short fins. I put 3 in my 15 and 2 in my 20L cardinal fish tank. I have not seen any zoae coming out in drove, though.

How big are they?

They are big enought for you to see their eyes and tails. About a 1/4 inch long. Some are bigger and some are smaller.
