yes they are. pretty much anything - including, in many cases, the dreaded aiptasia

The only drawback is that I have heard they will hide out of sight all day.

Mystery wrasses eat them. Mine ate all of the peppermints I added, about 8 total.

Peppermint shrimp are most active at night. They have known to disappear for months. Because of their nocturnal habits, you have to stake out the display for night viewing. Also, they are hit and miss on glass anemones. They seems to have more success with very small glass anemones. I guess they are sweeter to the taste. lol
