Percula clown fry

What are you feeding your rotifers if you don't use some form of green water? If you are talking about green water in your fry tank, then yes, in the 90's when I was raising clowns until I flooded the local market, I never used green water in my fry tanks.

Green water allows you to do fewer water changes and keeps uneaten rotifers alive until your clowns eat them. There are several companies that sell live phytoplankton.
I used DT's for my fry tanks (its too expensive to feed to the rotifers). You only need about an ounce or so in a 10 gal tank every couple days. Just enough to tint the white paper I put under my tank a hint of green when viewed from above.
