Percula clown host ?

I have been hearing conflicting opinions as of late in regeards to what is the most likely to host my Percula clown pair.
Someone even told me that some varieties of clowns are more flexible when it comes to a host than others. I would prefer not to get an anemone unless I am assured that it will NOT move and become a chemical wrecking ball in the tank.
If anyone has any direct experience with hosting Percula clowns please tell me what to get for them before they take up residence in my small Hammer Coral. Thanks, PAulb.

They will pretty much decide that when you put them in the tank mine was hosted by a torch. A friend of mine has one that is hosted by a large patch of zoa's. Not sure what mine is hosted by now I passed it along to Dobb, but before I got that one it was hosted by a large hairy shroom. So as I said they will find a host, just let them decide.

My false percs are now both hosting in a large Toadstool (Sarcophyton), and I think it is a good substitute anemone because it does not seem to mind being beaten by the clowns like other corals do.
But, there's no gaurantee that they'll host at all even if you have an anemone; mine didn't for a considerable time.
I shared this pic in another thread here recently, but this is my little Ocellaris hosting in the toadstool.

For now, my percula pair seems content in the corner of the tank next to the overflow and Magfloat. I was informed just a couple of days ago that if the clowns decide to take up residence in my Hammer or Frogspawn, they could easily damage them since they are just small frags right now. A toadstool sounds like a great fit in the tank. Thanks for the info.
Hey Nitroq, I see you are selling various corals in your tank right now. Are you looking to pass on the "torch" ". Send me a PM if you want to sell it.

That one I got when we had a meeting at WET LANDS EDGE in Decatur over a yr a ago. It was in the 85 first, then I moved it into the Nano last Feb. when I set the nano up. It has split. I have moved that one back into the 85. The other one is in the nano, not as large but close. I really like this type of toadstool.

Mary, that's VERY awesome.
Everyone, Wetland's Edge had a number of these large Toadstools that Marc let us frag the last time NARC had a meeting there. We haven't been there in a while -- maybe we will go before too long -- but I'd say that there's a good chance that they'll have some available next time we're there.
