I have a amphiprion percula clown that I have had for over a year now. About two days ago all the sudden I noticed its right fin had little bubbles in the skin all over it and the fish isn't using the fin to swim. The fins coloration looks muted it looks a little ragged.
The clown hosts a large euphyllia hammer coral and spends all it's time in the tentacles. I haven't added anything to tank besides a few snails and an emerald crab in a long time. I keep mainly SPS coral, and my water parameters are very good, with nitrate >5 ppm, phosphate >5, nitrite 0, so on. I do a 15 gallon water change every week with water from my RO unit and seachem reef salt. The tank is 40 gallons with a HOB 5 gallon refugium by CPR with macro algae, live rock, and a DSB.
I can't imagine water quality being the issue here, and all the other fish are peaceful and have all been together for over a year now. I vary the feedings between regular frozen mysis, PE frozen mysis, and spectrum pellets, and I haven't bought any new food in months. Anyone know anything about this? The fish is still a hog for food and does everything it normally does, looks and acts fine otherwise. I will get pictures when the lights come on later today.
