as most of you already know i have a spawning pair of clowns. had them for about four years now and they started spawning about a year and a half ago. the reason i video recorded this one is because the moved thier spawning site for some reason. they did stop spawning for a few months so maybe they just moved it out of lost memory. who knows. anyways enjoy the video!

thanks ta! yeah the funny thing is that they stopped spawning for a bit while i was neglecting my tank this summer...then they just started up again. they did move thier spawning spot too. anyone hear of any validity to some comments that if you let a female spawn for too long( force spawn for too long- by creating a particular constant temp/ conditions too encourage constant breeding......... natural ocean conditions dont allow as earths shift in seasons prevent) it can shorten thier life span? I had someone say this to me way back and was wondering if its true and or possible and or plausible. thanks oh and saltcreep they host in lots of stuff. they first started hosting in a upside down clam shell...then they showed interest in shrooms...but took to a colt coral with full commitment. now i have no colt ( got a bacteria issue) and they started hitting the shroom patches again hard core. now they are full blown amoung and at home in the mushroom patches. they like them all but a certain area is treated with more emotions. they were purchased in the winter of 2002/2003

Sweet!! Do they host up in the Shrooms?? I've had captives in my Monti. cap. (there not very smart). Great photos!!
I have 2 tank raised false percs that are a bit stupid also :D
I have a small BTA that they completly ignore. Instead they would rather host my Magfloat in the corner of my tank

when juviniles they can act stupid when hosting....its like they are trying it out trial by error until they find what works. once they age a bit the seem to know what they like and take to hosting fast!
