Photo is a bit murky thanks to our gobies kicking up sand, but it appears that our female Ocellaris and our male Percula, who have never seemed very fond of each other, have laid some eggs on the pipe behind their main carpet anemone.
(There are six anemones in the tank: 3 RBTA, 3 gigantea (blue, yellow, green). The anemones have been in the tank 18+ months, the female about 15 months, the male a bit less than that.)
We've read up on the FAQ on what we should do, but we're looking for advice on some simpler solutions, as equipment and space are limited here in Japan. Obviously, we won't be able to do anything about the first few cycles of eggs, but hopefully we can learn something to prepare for future cycles.
Any experiences with feeding rotifers directly to the main tank or is this pretty much impossible? *Has anyone managed to do this without a second tank? It may be pretty much impossible for us to do this, but I'd at least like to give it a try.
