Perculas in a 12 gal?

Someone offered me a JBJ 12 gal nano dx. Its free and come with sand, rock, and a mushroom. Right now there are two Black and White Perculas (Juveniles). Will they be able to live out their lives in that tank or would they eventually have to be moved to a larger tank?

I already have to 2 Osc clowns on hold at the LFS that Im going to be picking up Tuesday for my 30 gal so Im hoping that they'll be able to stay in their tank already. I might add some inverts but no other fish to the nano.

Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear that.

Real good deal would have been horrible to have to walk away from it.

12 gallons is fine for a pair of ocellaris or percs if they're the only fish in the tank. I have a mature pair of black and white ocellaris in a ten gallon tank.

However afaik there is no such thing as black and white perculas. Odds are they're ocellaris clowns. No matter, they're very cool clownfish, congrats on the great score  .

I have a book on clown fishes by Joyce something from my marine bio class, it showed that a 10 gal was a good starter setup. Wasn't sure how long that would have lasted.

I might move the black and whites to the 30 because they are a pretty good size. The Oscellaris clowns I got today are tiny (3 months old) They have used maybe 2 square inches of the 10 gal qaurantine tank so far today.

I have a pair of medium sized B&W Ocellaris in my 12 but will move them when they get larger to my 120. Mine were not origionally paired so the 12 gallon has worked wonders.

I also give two thumbs up on the 12 with the Percs. My friend... I love how we all say that... has a 12 with a sexed pair and a large carpet to keep them comfy.
IMO most 12 gallon nano setups need to have the lighting changed out at the least. ( only mention because you said you might add some inverts )
By the way fellow New Englander here how far are you from Portsmouth NH?
