Perfecto 120Long - Stand Question

I built a stand for a plywood aquarium that did not work out as planned. My stand is 60.25" x 17.25". Thinking of purchasing a 120 Long however the depth is 18"

The back of the tank will be about .5 to .75 " off the stand at the back. I don't see a problem with it as the tank will be sitting perfectly level on this stand.

In addition, I am going to put 1/2" styrafoam under the tank, is this a good idea or should I set it right on the 2 x 4's?

I need more cowbell! :)

I honestly dont see why styrofoam would make much of a difference as long as the perimeter of the tank is well supported...

correct me if I am wrong but I think people use styrofoam to evenly distribute the weight, and to have full contact on the bottom of the tank.

to give an example...

my 90 perfecto is stitting on a steel tubular stand with no foam, but my sump/refugium is sitting on 2" foam, then on shimmed 1/2' plywood on the ground which was not perfectly level.

Yes that WILL be a problem level or not. If it is a glass tank with a plastic frame. The plastic frame is what is supporting the weight of the tank. Why not just nail a 2x4 to the top back of the stand to support it?
