Peristaltic Pump Tubing

I was able to get a good price on a Masterflex Cole-Parmer Peristaltic Pump Drive 7540-12. I'll be using this for my ATO. Does anyone know if I can use 1/8" ID x 1/4" OD - Food Grade Silicone Flexible Tubing for it?

I found that neoprene works well for peristaltic tubing. Silicone degraded quickly in my medical grade peristaltic pump.

You will need some sort of the thin-wall tubing from MasterFlex or the like. You only need 10 inches or so per channel that you're dosing. There are converters to use regular air line tubing for the rest, if you'd like to keep the cost down.

I use the neoprene only in the head/rollers, just enough to cover that area of the pump. On each end I have barbed connectors with silicone tubing running from the reservoir to the pump and from the pump to the tank. Cuts the cost of the neoprene down due to only using 3" at a time. When it gets worn by the rollers, cut another 3" piece and replace.

I buy 10' at a time and it lasts for years!
