Periwinkle snails

I went to an asian food market they had live periwinkle snails...anyone know if they are ok to feed to my peacock mantis

i get a periwinkle snail out of the local marsh. my peacock loves them!

My mantis just looks at them graze by and waits for me to stick in the straw with the shrimp on the end...
