Hi, I have this locani for several mounth now, but i didnt notice this before. they are like a cross between ants ad fleas. I doubt that they are some kind of worms because they apparently have legs and they move more nimbly or faster like very little ants. the are flat but vertically and the color is between red and brown.

when I saw them I immrdiately diped this coral, and all the rocks and corals around this infected one with coral rx this dip killed them all. I searched for it on all the other corals but I didnt find any one they were only on this coral. the polips of this coral was opened like you see in the pic, do that means that they were not eating the coral?

is this a pest? if yes, what is the name of this pest, and how dose they affect the corals? and how can I kill them?

thank u

Looks like red bugs to me. Sounds like you took appropriate action. Keep a eye out for more and be prepared for another dip.

is there a medicacion or some thing to medicat the hole aquarium? dase they eat corals? thank you for your replay

There are a few treatments that you can do to get rid of the red bugs, the most popular is a heart worm medication called interceptor, you'll need a prescription for it but I hear that if you explain your situation to a veterinarian they will prescribe it to you.

When you use it be sure to research it and understand how to dose.

here same pics using digital microscop
