I have heard a rumor that Petco is having the $1.00 per gallon sale next week. Can anyone confirm this? I need to re do my sump so I was hoping to save a few bucks. thanks everyone...

I saw a rumor it was from March 27 through May 9th. Nothing on the website yet or in stores that I have seen though.

Sparking ideas here. If I decide for sump, what size would be good for 75 gallon display tank?

I use a 40 breeder. It's wide and will fit under a 75 yet leave space for other equipment. It also has great area.

I can understand that. I've seen good and bad Petco store. It all depends on the managers. My Petco store in Goodyear AZ was great and I miss it actually. The guy that ran the fish/aquarium section was a reefer. They sold everything from RBTA, hard and soft corals and higher end equipment. He went as far and separating the inverts system and fish systems. That way he could medicate if needed. They also had a great Live rock tank with real Fiji live rock. In fact I miss all the great stores from AZ

I agree, I wont buy live stock at Petco but a 20.00 dollar sump tank works for me!!!

Yes it is going on, my local Petco has them 1 per gallon but they already are out of the 55 gallon

The pricing is good cause you can buy a tank and use them as a DIY sump, quartine tanks or setup as a new setup but they aren't reef ready I mean they aren't drilled.
