As A ffriendly reminder to friends and fellow aquarium hobbyists that have been waiting for the dollar per gallon sale from petco, it has arrived so buy your glass before someone els does or you will regret it till the next sale like me months and months ago! If my memory is correct the sale is going on until July 27 or some day close.
Just got my 40g breeder right away after reading a post yesterday afternoon about it then put it into storage for now. First had to return this sweeeeet lawn chair that reclined, had a extending foot rest, and a umbrella attached...I'm gonna miss that chair. Returned to Costco for the $$, bc sale had to come right when I'm dirt broke, and there are only 2, 40g breeders at the 2 stores I checked. But after all the wait for the dallar gallon sale and RC's help to get me somewhat first pick I got my breeder. But also learned they tax you for the original price! I almost didn't have enuff the tax was 10$ :deadhorse1:
Now anyone recommend a safe way to build/install overflows into a 40g breeder? Thats next step. Then building a custom stand for my old 55g sump to fit and get rid of this tiny 30g setup I've been stuck with! Moving from a 165g setup to 30g is a horrifying downgrade no one should ever put themselves through. Hopefully now I'll be around 80g atleast. :dance:
