Whoever posted that Petsmart does price checks with Drs. Foster/Smith i need to thank them. I just took the DRS/Smith magazine in there today to buy a heater and look at a bucket of salt for comparsion with Petco. Here's Petco's price on a bucket of salt in Desmoines $63.00 / Petsmart $48.00. That's a big difference by itself. However by showing him the magazine they will match a bucket for $31.99 and they matched a Theo heater they had for retail for $38.00 for $19.99. Anyway thank you whoever posted they pricematch..

The thing is look for the ones that have a rebate attached. It was great. A bucket of salt for $26. hehehee

We tried to get the price match and the manager told us they price match their online and catalog prices only. He did match it that time but said they would not do it again.

they must have a new manager now.

The petsmart in W/loo will pricematch, that's how I've been buying my IO salt since I set my tank up.

I just got a $10 off $30 coupon, May have to go buy some salt, If they combine the two(price match and coupon) I'll get a bucket for $22 or so.

the petsmart here did not even bat an eye about price matching. infact I should have thought about it when I got my test kits. API salt master would have been about $13 instead of $22 and the api reef master would have been $19 instead of $29.

I just got a 160 gal. IO salt bucket from the petsmart in W'loo also for $32. I called and they told me they would match on line offers. Just print something out so they could look at it. I printed the price from Aquqrium guys at 31.99 and they matched it no questions.
