Do you carry these bulbs? I don't see them listed on your site but you do carry PFO products.

If so, how much?

Hi,

PFO quit carry the 13K bulbs, but I believe they do have some inventory left, so we could get them for you. Would cost 57.95 each. Might also look at the 14K hamilton which has similar color to the PFO.

thanks

Thank.

Any particular reason you stopped carrying them?

Those 14k Hamiltons are quite a bit more expensive aren't they?

How long do these PFO 13k last?

If was PFO's decision actually. When we found out they were going to discontinue, we let our stock run out since people wouldn't be able to repurchase it later for replacements etc. Seems like a good bulb. I think it was just too much inventory for them to hold.

We could work out something on the price of the Hamiltons, just send me an email to sales@premiumaquatics.com I'm off tomorrow, but can work you out something wednesday.

Or, might wait and see how the new 14k coralvue bulbs are. Just got those in last week and haven't had chance to test them. It's the new revised version. We got the new revised 10K coravlue several months ago and not one problem so far, so the 10k is very solid, so hopefully 14k will be as well.

thanks

It's getting to be time to replace our 16 month old Ushios. :eek1:

Although i'm not so convinced they really need changing yet, color is still good, corals are still loving them and there is no nuisance algea growing anywhere.

These are on a softie, lps tank and recently saw the PFO 13k bulbs in action and liked the look. Just haven't seen much talk about them so not sure what to think.

It's probably going to be about 3 weeks before we order. Just doing a little research now. Really like the Ushio's but after seeing the 13k's, would like something a little bluer than the Ushios.

I'll shoot you an e-mail this week, thanks.

Sorry to post in your thread but I'm looking for a new bulb as well. In the past I've used Ushio 10k's. I'm looking for something a little more blue. I like the look of the Hamiltons, but the price of the Coralvues is much better. My bigger concern(more so than price) is color. I want something with some blue, not too blue. I want something that is white with a hint of blue in it. Any recommendations?

Coralvue's new 10K is not as bright as Ushio, but does have more of a blue tint, so it would probably fall into the color you are looking for. Coralvue also has a 14K we need to get online, 59.95 price. Haven't looked at it yet, it might be too blue, since there bulbs lean more toward the blue spectrum.

Problem is these ratings seem all ove the place. For example 14K Aquaconnect is almost as blue as 20K Aqualine, so the numbers do not always show you how much blue tint you'll see.

thanks
