PFO 13k 175w

Hi,
Unfortunatley PFO is no longer selling the 13K lamps. As an alternative you may want to take a look at the 14K AquaConnect, 14K Hamilton, or even the 10k or 14k Coralvue as a more inexpensive option. All of those mentioned lamps will be fairly similar in coloration to the old PFO's.
After speaking with you earlier today about the bulb I got to thinking that I read somewhere that Ushio is now recommending the 175w lamp to be ran off of a pulse start ballast. Don't take that as concrete yet though, as I need to do some more research, but for some reason I think I remember reading that somewhere.

Yeah, I think I heard that too about the pulse start. Must be with the re-design of the bulbs because my old Ushios have worked great on M57 ballasts.
I'd like to just swap out a bulb with you but not sure what to get. I believe you carry 4 bulbs in 175w.

I'm running 250w XM's on a SPS tank, I like them. But this is going on a softie tank of 20" + sandbed so that PAR and increased output might be too much?
Been reading that the new Coralvues are really blue. Not a fan of BLUE bulbs.
Not sure what the AB's are and how they look.
I'm not looking for a BLUE bulb, but something with a little blue would be good. Any suggestions?
