Thanks Mr. V , coming from you, it means a lot.

What Pikachu? :twitch:

Some Actinic LED shots with T5s turned down low. Trying to do the Frag Star millionaire look.

Nice scape, turned out great🤩.
Also interesting how the yellow wrasse had no problem sleeping in the rocks. I have two leopard wrasse, a yellow wrasse and I'm not sure if I'll go with no sand though.

Mr.V just turned me on to your build thread as I'm working on a tonga branch build out too. So you used a hammer drill to put holes in and acrylic rods. Must of been skinny rods where did you get those as I think BRS rods are 1/4"? Any additional pics of the build out? I was thinking about using Marco cement.

You hang out with that guy? He came over, grabbed a frag from my tank and just left! :lmao:

Yes, think of the acrylic rod as a way for you to build your aquascape like a lego set.. if you are not happy, pull out the rod and thats it. If you like it, then add super glue into the holes and use marco cement to hold it all in place. Every joint is framed by acrylic rods with marco cement holding it. I wanted the structure to be very solid so that I can move it around if I ever need to catch fish.

Here is a link to the exact rods I used in my build.

As for pics, I've been just letting the tank grow. Anything in particular you wanted to see?

Sweet that's what I need. I bought a 3/16 diamond drill bit today so I'll order some acrylic rods next. What's a good length to use, 3/4" into each side of the rock? Also grabbed this tile hand saw which works but takes some time.

An 1.5 -2 inches would be good. I used a time saw and a hammer drill from harbor freight.

When I went bare bottom in the cube, I almost lost the yellow coris to a wound from trying to find a sleep spot. I felt horrible

It's been a long time since I've updated my thread. After my last post, I had a major set back (mini crashed) due to moving too quickly with the tank transfer and having sps live through what I would now call a mini cycle. Despite my best efforts, I think it's clear to me now that once you change out rockwork, prepare to sit tight for at least 8 months before trusting sps with it. I am fully recovered now, but lost pieces I've had since I've started the hobby, so it was a tough situation.

Anyways, I've decided to start updating this thread daily. To ensure that happens, I have set a goal to post a single picture Monday-Fridays. So here we go!

For you photo freaks... I'm just using a Motorola cheapy android phone on manual mode ;)

We will be going from the right side of my tank to the left and slowly move up.
