I added too much baking soda to my tank at once and had a big swing in pH. It is now back up to 8.4 but 2 of my 4 fish have developed white patches on fins gills and eyes and my Kole tangs lower fins on one side look like they have fin rot. My mandarin seems unaffected. My local club forum has suggested that it may be pH burn and that I should raise the temp, add stress zyme and change carbon. Could this be the culprit? If so, how should I treat it?
