thanks jeremy .

when i am increasing the bpm my alk reading high . and when i decrease the bpm to lower the alk then the ph reading in the rector get high .
what i want to know if in this case the media dissolve when the ph reading get to 7.5 (in the reactor)

best regards

michael

Hi Michael,

The media will melt all the way up to our regular tank ph that we run at 8.2 - 8.4, it's just a much slower process at this point, way too slow to buffer a tank. 7.5 will melt the media, however dependent upon the demands of the tank it might not make it efficient enough.

Here is what I would do.....

Cut your effluent rate way down, to a very slow drop. Maybe no more than a drop every 2-3 seconds. Then set your ph controller to turn the co2 on at 7.0 and off at 6.8. Then adjust your effluent rate, either up or down, to the demands of your system.

If you have any questions let me know.

Thanks,
Jeremy
