Ph in calcium reactor

What is the lowest and highest ph value i can have in a calcium reactor, i ask because right now i have a steady stream coming out of reactor with a bubble count of 1 bubble a second maybe a little bit faster and my ph in the tank never goes above 8.10 in the day and drops at night to 7.90, my effluent is coming out at 6.67 ph, maybe raising the effluent of reactor to 6.9 ph would help my ph in the tank to not go that low at night, or can i pass the effluent thru aragonite to raise ph?

Lowest 6.5
Highest 6.7 or can i go to 6.9 and still have media dissolution?

I use koralith and NeoMag in my calcium reactor to supply alk, cal, mag all at the same time, thanks

I get roughly the same levels at night. I do not have the space to run another chamber to buffer the pH, but if I did I would...

I'm just starting out with a cr reactor. I think your ph swings are fine. Mine went from 8.0 in the morning to 8.3(4) by the end of the day dosing 2 part. I think its fairly normal to have swings like that. Raising you cr ph isn't the answer. You may have to supplement with alk & calcium or maybe run a fugi. After running my cr for a few days my ph is lower, no higher than 8.2 during the day, about 8.10 at night. But I also just started running a fugi which I think helps hold the ph level.

you can run the pH in the reactor higher, I have mine at 6.85. If the flow rate is high, then this may still keep up with the alk/calc demand of the tank. But, that said, it may not help with your pH levels. Better aeration of the tank is more likely to solve the problem, but even then you may just have a higher ppCO2 level in the house depressing the tank pH. all the same your range is fine and nothing to worry about. Mine is always in that ballpark, and it's never been an issue.
