PH keeps going up...help!

Not sure why, but I cannot get my PH down. Doing water changes and have a calcium reactor running. PH coming out of the reactor is 6.7 (3 bubbles/second CO2) and my RO water PH is 7.8. PH in my tank is steady at 9.3!!! I will get it down and it will go right back up a day later. Alk is high (I would assume as a result of the PH) but all my other levels are fine. RO water is perfect coming in. Any ideas?

I have tried 2 different probes on 2 different monitors and also a manual PH test.

Have you re-calibrated the probes prior to using them? Since you've stated that you're not adding anything that would raise the pH (CO2 will actually drop it), something isn't adding up?

exactly. Running the calcium reactor in overdrive just to try and help drop the PH. Haven't calibrated them but have cross checked the probes in our other tank and the PH is 8.4 and our drop test shows the same numbers

stop running your reactor, what are your calcium levels, if you don't want to stop your reactor cut back on the co2, what are your alk levels.

by cranking up your co2, inceases your alk, which directly effects your ph, IMO I am sure you will get other opinions, some might argue this, 90 percent of your ph is controlled by your balance of your alk, and calcium. right now your alk is so out of wack it is causing your spike in your ph, stop running your reactor, do some water changes, sean

I was wondering if that was the issue. I read one time that the reactor would raise the ALK, but couldnt find anymore info on it. Thank you so much for the info and hopefully I can get this down.
