PH level

I just threw the Hanna PH pen in the tank and it was reading 8.6
Using R/O , Seachem liquid calcium and that's about all I have been adding except food.

I would check your alkalinity and calcium levels. Usually if pH is high, your calcium could be low, and alkalinity high also.

Ok...I just did a test. I am using Aquarium Pharmaceuticals KH
Test Kit. I added 10 drops to the required 5ml. in the test tube.
This is giving me a reading of around 180 ppm. So, do I need to increase the calcium to bring the KH down?
