pH Probe Loan?

Anyone around Naperville have a Pinpoint pH probe they could loan me to test my Pinpoint controller? The probe I have was working until a few days ago, but now it doesn't affect the readings on either my Pinpoint or Milwaukee controllers.

I connected a working probe from my Milwaukee controller and it doesn't read on the Pinpoint either... Not sure if there is any reason the Milwaukee probe wouldn't work on a Pinpoint, but I'd like to try another Pinpoint probe to find out if my controller is bad before I go buy a new one.

Summary:
Pinpoint Probe & Pinpoint Controller = Not Working
Milwaukee Probe & Pinpoint Controller = Not Working
Pinpoint Probe & Milwaukee Controller = Not Working
Milwaukee Probe & Milwaukee Controll = Working

Thanks,

Phil

Sounds like your having a controller issue and not a probe issue. I used both Milwaukee probes and pinpoint probes on both my Milwaukee and pinpoint controller. Actually using a aquadyne probe now on my pinpoint controller. All are able to be calibrated correctly. I have a pinpoint probe I can lend you if glbtrottr doesn't find his.

ReefWorld, I agree with your assessment, just trying to do the final elimination. I'm going to try and locate a probe nearby. I'll probably go buy one before I take on a long distance road trip. :-)

GlbTrotter, let me know if you find it and where and when it would be ok to meet with you.
