ph problem

I am having a problem keeping my ph up at night. I don't have a nefugium and don't have the ability for one right now so there is no way to have another light on at night. I have dosed Kalk before but it did not seem to work that well anyone else have this problem or some info on this at all please let me know if you do.

What are your ph levels during the day, and at night? Fluctuations are okay as long as they don't swing too much.

it is normal for PH to change at night as long as it remains above 7.8. Did you does CaOH (kalk) at night or during the day? It is best to do at night because it usually brings you PH back up.

My ph during the day is 8.2-8.3 and at night it drops to about 7.7-7.9 my Alk is 8-9 salinity is 1.025 and water temeture is 78-79 degrees. Calcium is 440

pH drops at night and is highest in the morning. Do you have any livestock in the tank or is it cycling right now???

I have a full load of live rock with about 20 acro colonys. I also have avout 7 fish so yes this is stocked well. The tank has been up and running for about 2.5 years.
