Ph

Oh, the lighting thing might be the issue, I had only my actinic on for a few days so maybe that was the reason. I will keep checking to see if it stays normal now. I'm not sure if I have the appropriate amount of circulation either but I have had the same setup for awhile and only recently started having the Ph problem.
I have a 180 with a mag 24 as the return coming in on both sides of the tank and then 4 maxi jets 1200 hooked to a wavemaster

two of the maxi jets that are towards the top has hydroflos on them so they hit the surface off and on throughout the day, I will add another maxi jet (since that is what I have lying around) that I will point toward the surface for more surface agitation however, hopefully this helps.

if you got a fuge area in sump helps to keep lights on opposite of tank lights or on almost 24/7, macro algae plays an important role also.

From the article possibly the fact that I have a canopy over my tank might prevent proper air exchange. I do have refugium with cheato in sump and keep the light on 24/7. Would possibly adding fans to the canopy help with this?
