Anyone have the old pharos that can give me some pointers. My coral are lossing color under them and half are not opening at all. I have tried different settings as far as percentage. Any suggestions? I am thinking of going back to my metal halides if I don't figure it out soon.

Some coral may shift in color when going form MH to LED. I have the Pharos on my tank and I don't have the issues. The only issue I had is when I accidentally left them on at 100%. I bleached a lot of coral.

What's your schedule like? At what percentage for each channel?

I have my blues coming on at 6am and turning off at 11pm they go up to 40% max for about 8 hours and the rest is dimming up and down. The whites are on for about 8 hours max with dimming for 2 hours at the beginning and end. The max intensity is 35% right now.

Whites
8am- 5%
9am-5%
10am-10%
11am-15% and set at that til 5pm
5pm-10%
6pm-5%
7pm-5%
8pm- off
Blues
6am-5%
7am-10%
8am- 20%
9am- 20%
10am- 20%
12pm- 30%
6pm-40%
8pm-40%
9pm-35%
10pm- off
This was not my original settings though. I keep trying different things to get the color I want plus get the coral to open. Some are doing fine but majority are not.

I think your whites are on for too long and are a bit low. I would try for about 5 hours of strong light with one hour if fade in and out for the whites. The Blues look fine.

I forget what I run mine at but Ive been running them in combo with a 4 bulb 48" T5. I think I might remove the T5s and reposition the LEDs over the middle of the tank this weekend.

Thanks for advise. I will try decrease the white light schedule but increase intensity slightly. I am also going to increase blues more.
